1. Information We Collect

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect includes:

• Personal Data: When you register for an account using Google Sign-In, we collect your name, email address, and profile information provided by Google.
• Forwarded Email and Attachment Data: When you forward a travel email to trips@tripcoral.com, we receive the forwarding and recipient addresses, subject, text or HTML body, message headers, and attachments. We store and process this content to identify travel reservations and build your itinerary.
• Travel & Flight Data: We collect and process data regarding your flights and travel plans to provide you with live updates and offline access to your itinerary.
• Usage Data: We may collect anonymous data about your device, IP address, operating system, and how you interact with the App (such as through Crashlytics) to improve stability and performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect primarily to provide, maintain, and improve our services. Specifically, we use your data to:

• Create and manage your TripCoral account.
• Use automated extraction and AI processing to identify flight, hotel, activity, and ground transport details in forwarded email bodies and attachments and build structured itineraries.
• Provide live flight tracking updates and essential notifications.
• Identify and fix bugs or app crashes.
• Respond to customer service requests and support needs.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We value your privacy and do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only in the following situations:

• Infrastructure Providers: Cloudflare receives and parses forwarded emails for delivery to TripCoral. Google Cloud queues the stored email identifier so TripCoral can process it.
• Google Gemini (Primary AI Provider): To extract itinerary data, we send the email subject and body and supported attachment content to Google's Gemini service. Supported PDFs and images may be sent directly, while supported text-based attachments may be converted to text.
• Analytics & Diagnostics: We use tools like Firebase Crashlytics to monitor and analyze the use of our App.
• Map Delivery: Maps are delivered in two parts. TripCoral hosts its own base atlas — outlines, relief, airport markers and map styling — on maps.tripcoral.com, served by Cloudflare. Detailed street-level geography uses OpenMapTiles and OpenStreetMap data served by OpenFreeMap through Cloudflare, and only that detailed layer sends requests to OpenFreeMap. Both services receive ordinary requests for the visible map area, together with standard network information such as an IP address and browser details. TripCoral does not send booking or trip identifiers in map requests and does not prefetch or bulk-download map tiles.
• By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information is necessary to respond to legal process or investigate potential violations of our policies.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data.

How to Delete Your Account and Data:
You can request the complete deletion of your account and all associated travel data at any time. To do so, please navigate to the "Account Settings" section within the TripCoral App and select "Delete Account", or contact our support team. Upon request, all your synced emails, flight data, and account information will be permanently removed from our active databases.

5. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. All API communications are secured over HTTPS. Forwarding a travel email does not give TripCoral access to your mailbox or mailbox password; TripCoral receives the content you forward.
